The six doTERRA Citrus essential oils
doTERRA offers a variety of citrus essential oils , including bergamot, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mandarin, and wild orange. All citrus oils come from the rind of the fruit . Citrus essential oils are also produced through cold expression, also known as cold pressing. These are also great oils to take internally or diffuse. While you can use them externally, be sure to avoid the sun for 12 hours after applying the oil directly to your skin, whether pure or diluted for sensitive skin.
Citrus essences and their natural benefits
The most notable similarity between the six citrus essential oils is their ability to affect emotions. Most of these oils, including grapefruit, lime, lime, mandarin, and wild orange, can help elevate your mood or energy levels. Bergamot, on the other hand, is relaxing and calms the emotions. The best way to use citrus essential oils for mood or emotional balance is to use them topically on the back of the neck or under the feet, or aromatically in a diffuser. Lemon, lime, and wild orange are also excellent for purifying the air when diffused.
