The dōTERRA Petal 2.0 diffuser is a small ultrasonic diffuser designed to be simple to use every day. Its compact size and three parts store away easily, and its soft white ambient light suits the living room as well as the bedroom.

Set the diffusion to two, six or twelve hours depending on the time of day, add five to twelve drops of essential oils to room temperature tap water, and let the fine ultrasonic mist spread through a room of about 33 square metres. The device suits both a first diffuser and an addition for anyone who already owns one.

A monthly clean with water and white vinegar is enough to keep it in good order.

How to Deep Clean Your Diffuser

Cleaning is an essential step to ensure that no oil residue builds up in your device, which would prevent it from working properly. It is a good idea to run a cleaning cycle on your diffuser regularly. If you use it every day, it may be helpful to run a cleaning cycle once a month.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Start by turning off your diffuser.

2. Fill the tank with clean water to the half line.

3. Add 10 drops of white vinegar.

4. Run your diffuser for 5 minutes to allow the mixture to
water-vinegar to spread in the appliance and clean it.

5. Empty the appliance completely.

6. Using a cotton swab dipped in vinegar, clean hard-to-reach areas and corners of the diffuser.

7. Rinse with clean water.

8. Use a dry cloth to wipe the diffuser and dry it carefully.

9. By keeping your diffuser clean, you will enjoy the aromas of dōTERRA essential oils to their full potential.
