Roman Chamomile essential oil is an oil for skin care and the end of the day, drawn from a flower best known as a herbal tea. The plant grows close to the ground, about thirty centimetres high, bears daisy-like flowers, and its sweet, floral scent is reminiscent of apple.

Its calming effects benefit the skin first: one or two drops in your everyday moisturiser, as in the many face creams that use it, for younger-looking skin. In shampoo or conditioner, it smooths the hair and leaves a fresh, floral scent. In the evening, one or two diluted drops on the soles of the feet, or a few drops in the diffuser with Lavender or Ylang Ylang, become part of the bedtime routine.

The flower of the evening herbal tea, this time for skin and hair.
