Cedarwood essential oil is the woody, end-of-day oil of the dōTERRA range, for those who prefer a warm scent to the fresh notes of citrus. It is in fact a juniper, the Eastern Red Cedar, grown in the south-east of the United States, and the oil is distilled from the sawdust and offcuts left over from wood processing.
Its aroma is one of the most grounding in the range: diffused in the evening, it creates a soothing atmosphere and promotes emotional balance, and massage therapists use it to relax body and mind. On the skin, its clarifying properties reduce the look of blemishes, and one or two drops in your toner promote a clear complexion.
An end-of-day oil, for the home as much as for the skin.
