Tangerine essential oil is the indulgent citrus of the dōTERRA range, for anyone who loves desserts and fruity drinks. Cold-pressed from the peel of fruit picked before full ripeness, it smells sweeter and rounder than lemon, with a tangy edge.
Rich in limonene, it is both uplifting and soothing, which makes it an oil to diffuse at any time of day. In the kitchen, one drop flavours a cake or cookie dough, lifts a tea, a lemonade or a smoothie, and in summer finds its way into homemade ice lollies. It pairs well with warm, spicy oils such as Cinnamon Bark or Clove. In a spray bottle, it cleans surfaces effectively.
