Myrrh essential oil, diluted in fractionated coconut oil and presented in a roll-on, puts one of perfumery’s oldest resins within easy reach. It is distilled from the amber resin of a small, thorny tree from Somaliland, and its warm, woody, slightly spicy scent is applied directly to the skin.
Myrrh is first and foremost a skin oil: its ability to improve the skin’s appearance has made it an ingredient in many skincare products, including dōTERRA’s Salubelle blend. Applied locally, it creates a soothing sensation and, added to your beauty routine, soothes and moisturises the skin for a glowing complexion. Rolled onto the wrists before meditation, it sets an atmosphere of contemplation and serenity; in massage, it accompanies an uplifting moment.
