Grapefruit essential oil is the lively citrus of the dōTERRA range, for the morning kitchen as well as the bathroom. Cold-pressed from the peel, it keeps the fruit’s bitterness beneath its tang: a drier, brisker note than orange or tangerine.
Its invigorating aroma is diffused in the morning, alone or with doTERRA Cheer, for a stimulating atmosphere that supports focus. In the kitchen, one drop lifts a smoothie, an açaí bowl, a dessert or a tall glass of water. On the skin, diluted in a carrier oil, it helps cleanse the skin and scalp and reduces the appearance of blemishes; it is best applied in the evening, away from the sun. In a spray bottle of water, it cleans surfaces.

Aromatic use: add three to four drops to the diffuser of your choice. Food use: to flavour dishes, one drop per day at most. Dip the tip of a clean toothpick into the bottle, stir, then taste before adding more. Topical use: always dilute in a carrier oil before applying.
