Enjoy doTERRA Petitgrain Essential Oil
Petitgrain oil comes from the bitter orange tree. Originally from southern China, the bitter orange tree was imported to Paraguay in the 19th century, where it flourishes today.
There are three essential oils derived from bitter orange. Petitgrain which is distilled from the leaves and branches of the tree, Neroli essential oil which is distilled from the flowers and Wild Orange Essential Oil which is produced by cold pressing the skin of the fruit.
Petitgrain essential oil has a fresh, floral, herbal aroma that has been popular in perfumery since the 18th century, giving sprays, perfumes, lotions, and body lotions a fresh, herbal note that is popular with both women and men. Derived from bitter orange, which has a long history of use in traditional holistic medicine. Petitgrain essential oil has been used for cleansing purposes and used internally to support a healthy immune system.
It is this long-proven effectiveness that makes this essential oil so unique in all aromatic uses.
