Interesting fact

The name "neroli" comes from a French princess, Marie-Anne de La Trémoille, who lived in Nerola, Italy, in the 17th century. She is said to have loved the aroma of bitter orange blossoms and was known to perfume her gloves and bath water with them. When she introduced her favorite flower to her homeland, the name "neroli" was given in her honor.
