Spanish Sage essential oil is the sage for massage and focus in the dōTERRA range, not to be confused with the more floral Clary Sage. It is distilled from the leaves and stems of Salvia lavandulifolia, a small evergreen shrub grown in Spain and southern France: its herbaceous, camphoraceous aroma recalls sage, softened by a note of lavender.
Rich in camphor and 1,8-cineole, it gives a cooling sensation: mixed with fractionated coconut oil, it accompanies a post-sport or deep-tissue massage. Its aroma, both uplifting and soothing, promotes renewed optimism and focus: diffuse it before studying or diving into a complex project, or inhale it when attention flags, after lunch or late in the afternoon. A drop in your skincare brings its refreshing properties.
