This small, bushy, green shrub bears lavender-scented flowers and is a member of the mint family. Native to Southeast Asia, tulsi, sometimes called holy basil, is used in Indian medicinal practices as a natural solution to treat many ailments. Tulsi means “the incomparable,” and this plant is considered “the queen of herbs.” With its warm, sweet scent reminiscent of freshly picked basil with a hint of clove, tulsi helps create an uplifting atmosphere. It is traditionally used in rituals and as a protective herb around the world and in many cultures. Apply topically to promote clear, radiant skin.

- Blends well with Clary Sage, Geranium and Neroli essential oils.
Unlike sweet basil, holy basil oil has a warm, sweet aroma reminiscent of freshly cut grass. Its scent promotes an invigorating and inviting atmosphere. Holy basil oil is rich in eugenol, the same chemical constituent that gives clove oil its warming properties. However, it is gentler on the skin and gives the complexion a clean, healthy appearance when used topically.
