The Yule Log essential oil blend is named after the Christmas log. In a coconut oil base, it brings together woods, Cedarwood, Siam wood, Sandalwood and Nootka cypress, with Cistus, Benzoin, Ambrette and celery seed and a coconut extract.
Its woody, warm and slightly sweet aroma recalls wood crackling in the fireplace. Four to five drops in a diffuser create a cosy atmosphere for an evening with family or friends. Diluted in a carrier oil, it goes with a soothing massage or into the bath; one to two drops are applied to the chosen area, or mixed with ten drops of carrier oil for a perfume.
The log goes back to the winter solstice festivals, when people kept watch by the fire on the longest night of the year: Yule Log keeps that warmth.
