Harvest Spice dōTERRA Essential Oil Blend | 15 ml

A cousin of Ceylon cinnamon, but distinctly fuller-bodied: its cinnamaldehyde content passes ninety per cent, where its cousin stays below. Hence a clean, warm and peppery aroma, without the other's sugary softness. A trace is enough in a blend.

These are not seeds but flower buds, picked before they open and dried until hard. Their eugenol content is among the highest in the plant kingdom, hence the peppery, intense note. Used in China and India since antiquity, it brings the blend its spiced depth.

Eucalyptus trees, sometimes called gum trees, are tall evergreens native to Australia. Their leaves are rich in eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol, the components behind the oil's clear, open aroma. This is the ingredient that gives the whole blend its structure.

The red cedar of North America, distilled from its deeply coloured heartwood. Rich in cedrol, it gives off a dry, woody scent that recalls a freshly sharpened pencil. It sets the foundation of the blend and holds the floral notes in place.

A tropical evergreen that reaches fourteen metres, distilled from its inner bark, the very one that curls into sticks. Its cinnamaldehyde gives that warm, sweet aroma recognisable among a thousand others. It is the dominant ingredient of the blend, the one that gives it its identity.
