Smart & Sassy dōTERRA Essential Oil Blend | 15ml

A natural hybrid born in the Caribbean in the eighteenth century, from a cross between the orange and the pomelo. Its cold-pressed peel yields a bright, faintly bitter scent, less sweet than the other citrus oils. It is what gives the blend its bite.

Cold-pressed from the peel, never from the juice: it takes some sixty lemons to fill a 15 ml bottle. Its limonene, by far the main component, gives that clean, immediate aroma everyone recognises. It is one of the most widely used oils in the world.

A natural hybrid of water mint and spearmint, peppermint is grown for its high menthol and menthone content. Menthol is what produces the immediate sensation of freshness, whether the oil is diffused or applied to the skin.

dōTERRA distils it in Madagascar from fresh, undried rhizomes, which preserves a rounder aromatic profile. The zingiberene it contains brings that recognisable spiced warmth, at once pungent and sweet. It is the ingredient that gives the blend its comforting character.

A tropical evergreen that reaches fourteen metres, distilled from its inner bark, the very one that curls into sticks. Its cinnamaldehyde gives that warm, sweet aroma recognisable among a thousand others. It is the dominant ingredient of the blend, the one that gives it its identity.
